Little D and Connor!

Morning! I wish..I really, really, REALLY, wish that someone was driving real slow next to me during the run I just had holding a flipcam out the window and recording me. Because if there was video of the 50 foot vertical leap I just did in order to avoid a giant boa constrictor that was in my path I would most definitely win something substantial on America’s Funniest Home Videos.

It very well may have been a python.

I am unclear because I was hovering somewhere around the stratosphere and couldn’t quite make out it’s specifics. It could have also been dead, but that doesn’t mean it was any less menacing. Just right there on the sidewalk on the stupid bumpy road in Rockland lying in deceased wait for an unsuspecting runner like myself who was just jogging along, who may or may not have been singing Party Rock Anthem out loud, and who looked down just short of an almost certain death by anaconda. I mean..really…the run was enough to get my heart pumping. A scare like that isn’t healthy. Unless you are the happy observer of that little scenario in which case I am sure that you would gain years to your life span based on laughter alone. I, on the other hand, just shortened my life expectancy by about 20.

I am now safely back at my desk and my heart has returned to a working and no longer worrisom rythm and I want to show you my two new boyfriends.  Remember Rachel and Chris from their winter wedding? You know, beautiful Rachel who was 8 months along and rocking the 5 inch Louboutins? Well, they had their perfect baby boy, Connor, not long after the wedding and he was dying to meet me.

Connor brought along his big cousin, David, for the session and they brought their moms who brought me macaroons from White’s (don’t get me started on my timing to do a juice cleanse the week that actual WHITE’S were coming to my studio..dumb, dumb, dumb). Besides the whole not being able to eat the cookies thing, everything else in that equation was perfection.

Loving what we got.

David and his mom, Jamie, got to me first so we got started.

Really, David? Be cuter.
Ahhh!! Connor!! I can’t even stand you. Cannot.
How can they both be THAT cute.
Connor is the happiest little boy ever.
Two babies TOGETHER!! This makes me happy.
because most of the time THIS is what was happening.
How about his evil little laugh after he tried squishing Connor’s head. That boy KILLS me.
His expression…he’s all..” Hmmm….I think I will squash that baby….”
And the when he noticed we might be looking D is all…” What?! Oh..huh? Nothing..nothing at all..nothing to see here..just doing nice with the baby..niiiiceee..see? Nice…”
I can’t. I just can’t.
I just can’t get enough of him.
Ok. So, I’m sorry. I JUST couldn’t help myself here. I don’t ever put up the baby birds but this is quite possibly the BEST baby flip off of all time and I couldn’t help myself. Such skill..it couldn’t have gone unrecognized.
He thought he was pretty funny.
He is just so dreamy.
I mean..I might just explode from cuteness overload.
Thank you so much you guys. Those boy are awesome. Just AWESOME. And I think I kind of miss them. xo, Rachel
