Morning! Early morning blogging today because I have to get ready because I am a chaperone today! I’m NEVER the chaperone! I feel excited. Doesn’t really matter that we are going to the lamest zoo ever, I’m just happy that I get to go. I really never get picked no matter how many times I throw my hat in the field trip ring and today that ends. What does one wear when chaperoning a fourth grade field trip to a lame zoo?
I want to share two of my new favorite people with you before I go and figure out my zoo outfit. Sara and Garrett will be getting married in Martha’s Vineyard this summer and we met up last week at Green Harbor for their practice run. Um, love. They are both just so awesome. I really don’t know how I score all the pretty, cool people in the world to be my couples but it happens. And I am lucky for it. Sara, who I affectionately refer to as Thumbelina because she could fit inside a thimble, is one of my Beth Israel nurses that I love so much. I am telling you, there is a tiny part of me that thinks that maybe the Labor/Delivery and NICU floors of that hospital have a Mary Lou’s type policy where they only hire gorgeous, sweet, funny girls. Because that is all I have ever met from there. I heart them in a BIG way. Sara laughed and made me laugh through the whole shoot and by the end I wanted to pick her up and put her in my pocket and take her home with me. She would have fit. And Garrett, forget it. Super model. Bottom line. I am pretty sure that he is funny and enjoyable to talk to as well, but since I was so busy marveling over how stunning and photogenic he was, I am not 100% positive.
A very enjoyable evening. Even if those little sand bug things that bite you with no warning were out in full force and at times made me want to run screaming into the ocean or set myself on fire or something.
Love these. LOVE their styling and colors.
